Se excava por completo el solar y se entierran las piezas principales del nuevo Pabellón (atrio y salas de exposición permanente), proponiendo una identificación entre el vacío generado y el concepto griego del «kenós», espacio interior cerrado como núcleo esencial de la Arquitectura. Una gran abertura cenital lo inunda de luz, comunicándolo visualmente con el exterior.

The site is excavated and the main pieces of the Pavilion (atrium and permanent exhibition halls) are buried, proposing an identification between the new void and the greek concept of the «kenós», a closed interior space as essence of Architecture. A large upper hole introduces natural light, visually communicating with the outside.
